Adobe has announced that is has released Flash Player 10.2 for Windows, Mac and Linux. It features a new API dubbed Stage Video which drastically cuts down CPU usage. When playing back 1080p video, it should not surpass 15% CPU usage. The downside is that video providers need to implement it for you to see that improvement. Major providers such as YouTube and Vimeo are already on the job.
Mac users mourn as this version does not support PPC max.
