Gawker banned from The Daily event. Apple still mad about the iPhone 4 prototype

report is stating that Gawker and its associated sites are banned from the The Daily launch tomorrow. The Daily is Rupert Murdoch’s iPad only, photo-centric and interactive newspaper that will be unveiled tomorrow with Apple’s head of Internet Services Eddy Cue.
If you don’t remember, Gizmodo (owned by Gawker) bought a iPhone 4 prototype off a guy who “found” it in a bar. Since all that, Gawker has not been invited to anymore Apple events. So it seems this might be Apple’s doing since Gawker boss Nick Denton stated that although they’ve been hard on The Daily, News Corp wouldn’t be that thin-skinned towards them.
The Daily will be unveiled tomorrow at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York at 11 AM EST. Murdoch has confirmed it will be $0.99 a week and the subscription will go through iTunes.
