Just after the HP TouchPad leak showing it will cost $700, another Motorola Xoom Best Buy ad leak shows it costing $800. There was an earlier report with the same facts but the picture here seems way clearer and it does in fact still have the line:
“To activate WiFi functionality on this device, a minimum of 1 month data subscription is required.”
So on top of the $800 you’ll have to shell out an additional $20 and then cancel the data plan after you activate your WiFi.
Why even bother? Being $300 more than the iPad it seems more “Dead on Arrival” than the PlayBook. Least the PlayBook will be $500.
