A leaked photo of the Motorola Xoom tablet has appeared in a Best Buy ad showing it costing $800. It also states that it’s going to be in stores on February 24th. The most interesting line tho is that it states right under the image in small print:
To activated WiFi functionality on the device, a minimum of 1 month data subscription is required.
Of course this is all subject to change but being $300 more than the iPad and requiring a data subscription to activate WiFi does not seem like a smart move to kick off a wave of Android tablets.
