A report is showing a teardown of the Verizon iPhone 4 and as expected, it is using a Qualcomm chip for it’s baseband. The model number is MDM6600 and is it capable of running on both GSM and CDMA networks.
This could be a key indicator of what Apple plans to do for the iPhone 5, one model for all carriers.
